Adult Choir Ministry Our parish choir strives to assist the community through song and provide a more prayerful atmosphere for worship and liturgy.
Parishioners who love music are invited to sing with our parish choir. Practices are generally held on Thursdays from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church. The choir sings for special church and parish feasts from August to June and sings for Christmas, the Easter Triduum and other special liturgies.
One of the highlights for our parish choir is the annual Advent Service of Word and Song in December. At this special service, the community at large gathers in Saint Anthony of Padua Church to listen to the Word of God and to our parish choir along with the choirs of Holy Family Parish, Luzerne as they perform seasonal music to inspire God's people who wait in joyful anticipation for the coming of His Son at Christmas.
