Faith Formation

OUR PARISH CCD PROGRAM

Religious Education classes are provided in a unified program in both parishes from September through May.

•  8:30 AM to 9:45 AM Classes for children in grades 1-7 are held in St. Mary’s School.

•  9:45 AM to 11:00 AM Classes for grades 1-7 are held in the St. Anthony’s School classrooms in the ground level of St. Anthony’s Church.

•  Grade 8 students (our Confirmation class) meet on every other Sunday evening from 6:30 to 8:00 PM for our Confirmation preparation program.

•  SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION: All students seeking to receive a sacrament must attend CCD for two consecutive years. Children in 2nd grade will receive First Penance and First Holy Communion while 8th graders will be preparing to receive Confirmation. Children in these sacramental preparation programs will receive a Mass Attendance form to be signed by the priest, deacon or one of the sisters after each Mass that they attend.

• Please return your child’s CCD Registration form to either parish office or in the collection basket along with the appropriate registration fee: $40 for one child; $70 for two; $100 for three or more. Checks payable to St. John Paul II Parish.
