Purpose
The Altar and Rosary Society was formed as a spiritual and social organization for the women of the parish. Its principal goal is provide assistance to the pastor for the betterment of the parish.
Membership
Any female member of St. John Paul II Parish who is eighteen years of age or older is eligible to be a member of the Altar and Rosary Society.
Meetings
Members of the Society meet on the first Wednesday of each month except for February, June, July and August. Meetings are held at 7 PM in the Parish Hall at St. Rocco’s Church. Each meeting begins with all members praying a decade of the Rosary and a social hour with refreshments follows the meeting.

Altar and Rosary members are encouraged to participate in Lenten devotions such as Stations of the Cross and services held during Holy Week.
