We are called to be servant leaders of the Word: preaching, teaching, evangelizing, and cherishing the Gospel message throughout our entire lives. In addition to encouraging regular Mass attendance for parishioners of all ages, St. John Paul II Parish seeks to meet this challenge with:
Family-centerd Christian formation through faith formation programs for diverse ages and groups.
Using the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults as a primary means of fulfilling our mission to evangelize.
Encouraging the active involvement of youth and young adults in our parish ministries, activities, and programs.
Providing regular adult catechesis and promoting a fuller understanding of sacred Scriptures.
Ensuring an awareness of how our faith supports us at times of joy and loss, such as birth, marriage, death or other personal celebrations.
Some of our active ministries or activities that fall under our call of Word are:
Religious Education
Vacation Bible School
High School Youth Group
OCIA
